Liquid nitrogen treatment is a form of cryotherapy used to treat non malignant skin lesions such as actinic keratoses, viral warts and seborrhoeic keratoses (senile warts).

The nitrogen is applied by cryospray, cryoprobe or a cotton tipped applicator depending on the desired diameter and depth of freeze required.

Nurse Ros Nelson has a special interest in skin treatment and provides regular clinics for the removal of skin lesions. Most of our doctors can also provide this service on appointment. Please let reception know that this is what you require when booking your appointment.
