Quitting smoking is one of the best decisions you will ever make and we encourage our patients to do so.

If you would like help to quit, we can refer you to the Southern Stop Smoking Service who provide free support and advice, nicotine patches, gum and lozenges. This service is available weekly at Wanaka Lakes Health Centre.

We also have several nurses who are trained to help you quit smoking as well as providing nicotine replacement, subsidised medication and advice on lifestyle changes.

Health benefits and huge savings are just two of the many good reasons to quit.

Phone 443 0710 to make an appointment to quit or find more information at the New Zealand Quitline website or phone 0800 778 778.
